Work Scholarship Program
A limited number of students are regularly accepted on the Work Scholarship Plan. Upon acceptance, Work Scholarship Students (WSS) are required to send a $290 deposit. WSS work 40 hours per week for 6 full months prior to the regular 6-month course. The first sixteen hours covers the student’s room and board and the remaining hours pay for the entire tuition. After this, a WSS can enter the regular 6-month Lifestyle Educator program and, like the Cash Students (CS), will continue to work 16 hours per week for room and board. If for some reason the student cannot begin the program he/she has worked for, there can be a cash reimbursement of up to $1500 only. (See reimbursement plan under tuition for once a student begins classes.)
