The online course is an interactive, multimedia platform designed to give students an understanding of God’s method of treating the sick, while being trained to share the truths of the gospel.  Videos of each of the classes allow the students to obtain some of the “in the classroom” experience, while learning from the privacy of their own homes.  Through the online platform students are given the most up-to-date information about lifestyle physiology, nutrition, preventive medicine, natural remedies, and other aspects of God’s healing way.  They will also gain a fundamental knowledge of the beautiful truths in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy with classes such as the Plan of Salvation, Daniel, Sanctuary Studies, and much more. (To see a full list of classes, see the Curriculum page.)  This course lays a solid foundation for understanding and engaging in medical missionary work, which is essential for laboring effectively in the Lord’s vineyard.

The online CHE program offers many bonus features and additional information that the on-campus course cannot offer because of time constraints.  For example, there is over twice the amount of information on how lifestyle and natural remedies affect the body, as compared to the on-campus school, as well as offering Dr. Neil Nedley’s Depression Recovery Seminar.  Some materials have been exclusively written for the CHE online students and are only available to them.  Even though we cannot offer face-to-face instruction, students are always welcome to ask questions via email.

Individuals will have 1 year to complete all of the classes.  If after 1 year the student has not completed the entire course, they can be allotted another year after paying an additional $100.  Because most of our online students work full-time we are encouraging them to plan their time wisely so they will be able to complete the course while balancing their work and family responsibilities. We are encouraging students to study for at least 10 – 15 hours a week.  Once a class is started it must be completed within a certain amount of time.  The time frame for completion of each class ranges from 1 month to 4 months.  The greater the amount of sessions for a particular class the more time allotted to complete the course.  The units are sequential and will be available after the previous one is completed.  A one week intensive is also available for those interested.  For more information see the Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.s) link.
