Becoming a medical missionary was a childhood dream of mine. But it had never come to fruition, until the day I got introduced to Wildwood Center for Health Evangelism.
I remember the day so clearly. I was at a seminar in Paris, France where James Hartley, vice-president of Wildwood Health Institute, spoke on health evangelism. I had been praying for quite some time that God would show me where He wanted me next. I felt convicted that my childhood dream was no longer that. It was now about to become reality in my adult life. When I look back I understand that God put that desire in my heart. Once He opens a door, it’s our choice whether we want to enter through it or not. I decided to follow His lead.
I took the Health Evangelism course and am currently a Ministry Management student. I learned so much about God, myself, and medical missionary work. The Ministry Management course completely changed my understanding of business. I learned how to share Christ in the market place, how to be a Christian leader, how to start a self-supporting ministry, and how to share the gospel through a sustainable business.
My goal, now that I’m back home in France, is to start a mental health facility with a holistic approach. Even more so, it will be one where I can lead clients to Christ.
